  • In the matter of sustainability, the best way would be to take the train. However, if flying is the most feasible option for you, there are multiple airlines flying to Amsterdam. We would kindly ask you to consider offsetting your flight emissions, if you are in the position to do so. We recommend using Atmosfair.

Once in Amsterdam, we recommend renting a bike. There are numerous bike rental shops all over Amsterdam. When renting a bike, ensure that it comes with lights and a sturdy lock, as bike theft is common in the city.

  • Yes! The Dekmantel night program can be viewed here.

  • The opening concert for Dekmantel Festival 2026 will take place on July 29 at Oude Kerk. This year, the
honour goes to the boundary-pushing UK ambient duo, Space Afrika.

  • The minimum age for our visitors is 18 years. We might ask for your passport or ID at the entrance.

  • Every year, we bring our festivals to life with the help of an incredible team of volunteers. Whether you're supporting the build-up, working behind the bar, or welcoming visitors at the entrance, your role is what makes it all come together. Not only will all volunteers have free access to the festival and other community events, you will also receive additional rewards depending on the type of shift you pick.

If you're interested, pre-sign up now through our form by clicking on 'Volunteers' at the top of this page, and we will contact you with more details as soon as the roles are open by March at the lastest. We’d love for you to be part of Dekmantel Festival.

  • You can download the Dekmantel app from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Just search for 'Dekmantel' and install it.

If you're an iOS user who has had the app over the past few years, you don't need to download anything new. It's the same app, so simply head to the App Store and update it to the latest version to get this year's festival info.

  • Dekmantel operates independently. We are transparent and committed to maintain an ethical approach in all aspects of our organisation.

We stand firmly against the ongoing genocide in Palestine. While no act of support or financial contribution can fully address the suffering, we strive to contribute through donations and various fundraisers. For instance, every guest on our guest list contributes a daily donation, which is transferred to an organization that we select every year.

Additionally, we create space for expression at our events, welcoming forms of solidarity shared by artists and visitors alike. We recognise that these efforts cannot solve such large-scale injustice, and we don’t present our efforts as solutions. We continue to explore how we can deepen our engagement and responsibility as a cultural platform.

  • Dekmantel is an independent organization. We run Dekmantel Festival driven by a deep love for music and a commitment to creating lasting experiences for our visitors and artists. When you buy your ticket directly from us, you’re helping to support and safeguard the future of our global community. It’s what allows us to keep exploring and delivering on the most adventurous realms of electronic music with the highest production level, together with the fans, artists, and behind-the-scenes teams who make it all possible.

  • A weekend wristband is person-specific and cannot be transferred to others.

Amsterdamse Bos

  • In 2026, we’re expanding the Dekmantel Festival weekend experience into a 36-hour journey in the forest, tailored for the most adventurous electronic music heads. Adding three extra hours of musical adventure per day, Dekmantel at Dawn invites you to step into the early morning glow. Experience legendary DJs making left turns, and live acts doing morning concerts you won’t see anywhere else. This part of the program is exclusively accessible for the weekend ticket holders.

  • Dekmantel at Dawn unfolds in the mornings of the festival days at the Amsterdamse Bos, from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August, between 11:00 and 14:00. During these early hours, the Selectors, Greenhouse, and RADAR stages open exclusively for weekend ticket holders — an intimate, tree-canopied playground for sonic exploration on dew-kissed dance floors. For single-day ticket holders, festival grounds open at 14:00 each day.

  • By bike

The festival is easily accessible by bike from Amsterdam and surrounding areas, with a scenic bike ride through the Amsterdamse Bos. This is also the most sustainable option! The navigation adresss is Nieuwe Meerlaan 1, Amstelveen. Please, follow the signs and instructions of the traffic controllers to the bike parking. You can park your bicycle in the designated racks. Bikes parked outside the bike parking will be removed. Biking from Amsterdam Central Station takes approximately 45 minutes, and biking from Amsterdam Zuid takes approximately 20 minutes.

    By shuttle bus

A lot of traffic is expected around Amsterdamse Bos. If you would like to avoid taxi and car traffic jams, we recommend traveling by shuttle bus. The shuttle buses will depart from Amstel Station, stop A1 on the bus platform. The travel time will be approximately 15-20 minutes, and drives back and forth from 10:30 - 00:30. Pre-sale tickets can be bought through our ticketshop and cost €14,50 (online) and €15,50 (on-site) for a return. One-way tickets for the way back can be bought at the shuttle stop next to the festival site for €8,50.

It's possible to get to the festival by train or bus.

By train: Take the train to the airport (Schiphol) and from there you take bus 199, this bus will bring you in approximately 20 minutes to the festival site. The bus stop is right in front of the campsite (which is adjacent to the festival site).

By bus: From Schiphol Airport you can take bus 180/186/190/300 every couple of minutes to "Knooppunt Schiphol Noord" from where you can take bus 186 to "Amstelveen, Nieuwe Meerlaan", which goes every 30 minutes and stops at a 5 minute walking distance from the festival site. If you do need to travel by car, please carpool where possible. There will be (limited) parking available at walking distance from the festival and campsite. The address is Rietwijkeroordweg 59, Amstelveen, but we recommend entering "Nieuwe Meerlaan 1, Amstelveen" in your navigation system, this is the address of our main festival entrance. In the vicinity of the festival, follow the festival signing to either [P] festival or or Kiss&Ride. Parking tickets are €40,- for the weekend, and €20,- for a day, you can buy these upon arrival. This location is ±15 minutes walking distance from the camping, and ±20 minutes from the festival entrance. This is also the parking for the camping visitors. It's possible to drop off your luggage at the campsite before parking.

Please note: the taxi pick-up point can get very busy at the end of the festival. We kindly ask for your patience. If you wish to avoid the crowds, consider leaving a bit earlier or taking the shuttle bus back.
