We offer a more regulated and fair way to resell your ticket. When you buy a ticket through our official resale platform, the original ticket is cancelled and you receive a new ticket. This makes it 100% safe to buy and sell secondary tickets while preventing disappointment at the door.
In addition to protecting buyers from ticketing fraud, our resale platform maintains prices that are fair for both seller and buyer. In the past, we’ve seen tickets being sold at high prices by third-party vendors directly after our ticket sale began. Dekmantel is an independent festival organization. Our core values are all about music and community. Third parties profiting from our carefully curated and priced festival is not in line with our values. Reselling tickets should be fair for both buyer and seller, which is why we are happy to work with our own resale platform.
On our own platform:
- The original ticket is cancelled and you receive a new ticket.
- Resellers can set their price with a maximum of 100% of the original price they paid. No profit can be made.
- Buyers only pay for the set ticket price plus a service fee of 10% for the transfer.
Please note that we cannot guarantee entrance with tickets that are sold or bought on other reselling platforms or other third parties.Find our resale platform here.
General
Dekmantel operates independently. We are transparent and committed to maintain an ethical approach in all aspects of our organisation.
We stand firmly against the ongoing genocide in Palestine. While no act of support or financial contribution can fully address the suffering, we strive to contribute through donations and various fundraisers. For instance, every guest on our guest list contributes a daily donation, 100% of which is distributed equally between Medical Aid for Palestinians and the K41 Community Fund, aimed at providing financial, humanitarian, and transportation support to members of the local cultural community in Kyiv.
Additionally, we create space for expression at our events, welcoming forms of solidarity shared by artists and visitors alike. We recognise that these efforts cannot solve such large-scale injustice, and we don’t present our efforts as solutions. We continue to explore how we can deepen our engagement and responsibility as a cultural platform.Dekmantel festival operates under the established Code of Conduct and House Rules. We strongly encourage all attendees to familiarise themselves with these guidelines prior to entering the festival grounds. Compliance with this Code of Conduct is mandatory for everyone involved in the festival — including visitors, crew members, volunteers, security personnel, partners, freelancers, and other stakeholders such as artists, photographers, and videographers. Anyone found to be in violation of these guidelines may receive a warning or be asked to leave the festival grounds.
The minimum age for our visitors is 18 years. We might ask for your passport or ID at the entrance.
There is an absolute zero-tolerance policy in regard to the possession, sale, purchase or use of hard drugs at the festival site and the campsite. A maximum of 5 grams of soft drugs is allowed at the festival, but please note that pre-rolled joints are not allowed.
You can smoke or vape on a majority of the festival terrain, however, it is strictly prohibited to smoke under any of the roofs, canopies or any covered areas. Also, please pick up a portable ashtray at the entrance (or share one with your friends!). These are reusable – once it's full, simply empty your ashtray in a nearby bin.
For vapes or e-cigarettes, please do not throw them in regular trash bins. This prevents potential fires caused by batteries during disposal and allows for proper recycling of materials harmful to the environment. Discard them at a drop-off bin for small appliances at various supermarkets.(Professional) cameras are not permitted on the premises.
Personal food and drinks, perfume bottles, folded and regular umbrellas, pressurized spray bottles (e.g., deodorant or sunscreen) are not allowed on the festival grounds. Please leave these items at home.
You can take your own bottle to the festival as long as it's empty.
Medication is allowed only in unopened packaging – but in order to guarantee that you can bring it inside, please contact [email protected]. It's also possible to store (previously registered) medication at the first aid stand, where we have cooled storage. If you have any other questions about this, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to help!
All found items will be collected at the cash registers point on the grounds during the festival. Lost something? Then check our iLost page first here, where all found items are tracked by our staff during the event. All found items during break down will also be registered via iLost. Lost items are available for pick-up at iLost (Zekeringstraat 17A, 1014 BM, Amsterdam) from Wednesday August 6. In case any have left something inside your locker, you can contact elockers via this form.

The Friday, Saturday and Sunday program of Dekmantel Festival takes place at the Amsterdamse Bos (Nieuwe Meerlaan 1, Amstelveen). Bike parking
Our bike parking is located close to the entrance (±100m). We recommend arriving early to get a parking space close to the entrance, especially in case of tricycles or cargo bikes. The bike parking is not paved.
Shuttle busses
Our shuttle busses commute between the festival terrain at Amsterdamse Bos and station Amsterdam Zuid. The Zuid station stop is wheelchair accessible, and the stop at Amsterdamse Bos is wheelchair accessible during the day. - Low-stimulus area: our social safety hub is located in the heart of the festival: if you need a short break or are looking for a spot with less stimuli, we recommend to visit them.Every year, we bring our festivals to life with the help of an incredible team of volunteers. Whether you're supporting the build-up, working behind the bar, or welcoming visitors at the entrance, your role is what makes it all come together. Not only will all volunteers have free access to the festival and other community events, you will also receive additional rewards depending on the type of shift you pick.
If you're interested, visit our volunteering website page or sign up through our form to see all the open volunteer roles and everything that comes with it. We’d love for you to be part of Dekmantel. If you have questions, please email us at [email protected].In the matter of sustainability, the best way would be to take the train. However, if flying is the most feasible option for you, there are multiple airlines flying to Amsterdam. We would kindly ask you to consider offsetting your flight emissions, if you are in the position to do so. We recommend using Atmosfair.
Once in Amsterdam, we recommend biking – but there are also shuttle busses available; or parking for those who travel by car. There's numerous bike rental shops all over Amsterdam. When renting a bike in Amsterdam, ensure it comes with lights and a a sturdy lock, as bike theft is common in the city.A weekend wristband is person-specific and cannot be transferred to others.
