RØDHÅD Boiler Room set canceled, Matrixxman will close the stage today.
Due to a bad tooth infection with heavy pain, RØDHÅD will only be able to play one set at Dekmantel Festival 2018 today. He will play his UFO set as planned but then is heading home to rest. His Boiler Room slot (22h-23h) will therefor be taken by the mighty Matrixxman. Updated Schedules below.
Dekmantel Festival presents special pin and sticker package
Dekmantel Festival shares the same week as Pride in Amsterdam. As a support to the celebration of freedom in general and the LGBTQ-community in particular, we’ve made a special pin and sticker package (€5,- or more if you like), for which all revenues will be donated to Hivos.
Actress joins Dekmantel Festival with a special live A/V show

John Maus concert canceled
It is with great sadness that we learned about the passing of John Maus’s brother Joe Maus, who was both part of the band and their tour manager. Their concert at Dekmantel Festival is officially canceled.

A new stage at Dekmantel Festival: UFO II
Now in its sixth year, the UFO stage at Dekmantel has become a behemoth. With a capacity of a few thousand, the neighbour to the striking main outdoor stage, UFO is a sweaty arena for techno devotees who rock up fresh to the gates at 1PM and rarely leave it until 11PM. Building on a foundation of powerful techno, the UFO programming tweaks the 4/4 formula to maintain a heightened energy across the weekend.

The longevity of Dekmantel’s Opening Concert headliners Tangerine Dream – a band whose catalogue spans over 100 albums – is closely entwined with the mysterious nature of their music. From the spaced-out hypno-rock of their early records, through the groove-led proto-techno of their decade on Virgin Records, into the catchy melodies of their ‘80s movie soundtracks, the many facets of Tangerine Dream have confirmed them as one of the most singular and influential acts of the electronic era.

Once again, we head off to Amsterdam based clubs Shelter and RADION for three night parties on Dekmantel Festival’s August 3, 4 and 5. Dekmantel At Night invites several artists from the festival line-up like Joy Orbison, DâM-FunK and DVS1 and brings in new names such as Intergalactic Gary and Deniro too.
