Partners in life as well as art, object blue and Natalia Podgorska team up for a hybrid audiovisual extravaganza. Known for her highly textural, idiosyncratic club destroyers, in 2022, blue released FIGURE BESIDE ME. Describing it as her "most personal work to date", the two-track album navigates the emotional landscape of desire, delivering an intimate narrative document of chopped vocals, bass swells, twisted drums and fluttering melodies. Yet the sonic universe of FIGURE BESIDE ME expands far beyond the confines of a record. Presented in a live context, Podgorska's breathtaking sci-fi visuals are combined with blue's sound-design-first approach that moulds the atmospheres of techno and industrial music into new, dramatic shapes.
