But then you meet Elena Colombi: a DJ, NTS radio host, label owner and Dekmantel favourite, whose eclectic and energetic selections are definitely her greatest weapon. Techno, EBM, post-punk, industrial and wave music all commonly meet in her emotive sets, yet stopping there doesn’t do her craft justice. A free-spirited globetrotter at heart, the sound of the world – any world, for that matter – is Colombi’s sound.
