Amsterdam born, raised and based BSS, fka Beesmunt Soundsystem, is a solid rock of the Dutch electronic music scene, but his standout sound has taken him far beyond the Netherlands. The Echobox Radio resident counts releases on our very own imprint, Dekmantel Records, John Talabot’s Hivern Disc and Honey Soundsystem amongst others. Formerly a duo, Luigi Vittorio Jansen now operates as a solo affair, continuing the project's ethos of adventure-filled downtempo, spacious, slowly pounding breaks, fluttering melodies and gently pulsating synths. Even at his heaviest and hardest, there's an unparalleled warmth to BSS’ productions as Jansen plugs directly into the heartbeat of danceable music.
