Octave One presents The Collective Live

Bursting onto the scene in 1990 with their debut hit ‘I Believe’, Lenny and Lawrence Burden are a Detroit producer duo and live act known for transforming synthesizers and sequencers into vessels of funk, house, and symphonic beats. More than just an electronic band, their must-experience live shows push the boundaries of space, sound, and the possibilities of music in real time. In 1998, Octave One released ‘The Collective’: a 16-track record that navigates between minimal techno and the foundational principles of deep house—lush, warm, atmospheric, and inherently funky. At the tenth edition of Dekmantel Festival, Octave One will present a live rendition of the album that solidified their pioneering excellence.
