JASSS

JASSS is an artist who refuses to be pigeonholed. Intensely focused yet musically unbridled, on her striking EPs with Mannequin Records and Whities, and blistering full albums on Ostgut Ton and iDeal Recordings, she's twisted dance styles into endless new configurations. Raised in Spain on a diet of punk and hardcore, her productions and DJ sets are tinged with a jagged, industrial edge, and maximalist tendencies, translated through impeccably precise sound design, wave melancholia, and rock-like riffs. As a DJ, she's honed her skills at some of the world's most venerated institutions, holding residencies at Mannequin's regular nights at OHM, Berghain's Säule, and one of Berlin's best-loved techno parties, Herrensauna.
