Having invited the one and only Cauana to play as part of Dekmantel’s São Paulo club night collaboration in 2023, we simply couldn’t resist the chance of another rendezvous with the Brazilian producer and DJ. With sensitivity and musical counter-linearity among her most striking characteristics, Cauana always goes beyond the obvious, finding herself in iridescently deep sounds. Seamlessly fusing jazz, soul, house, breakbeat, downtempo, and a lot of percussion, her skills go further than mere rhythm and melodic manipulation, instead transporting audiences along intense paths, full of subtle and secret expressions.
