There's a reason why we've invited Carista back again and again to Dekmantel, and why we simply had to have her for our 10th anniversary. Behind the decks, she's a mood-boosting magician, dishing out broken beat, bruk-riddims, house, bass-heavy sounds, disco, boogie and beyond. Once one of the most exciting up-and-coming Dutch talents, she's quickly become a trailblazer on the global electronic circuit. Despite her international success, she's still firmly rooted in the local scene, supporting fellow artists through her United Identities label, as well as via her shows on NTS and BBC Radio 1. Best described as a seasoned tastemaker and – with every inch of her being – a damn good DJ, Carista is famous for her high-powered sets which breathe life into any dance floor lucky enough to cross her path.
