Don’t worry if all you remember from this artist’s last Dekmantel performance is a blur of acid, smoke and strobes; that’s exactly the point. Under his Beverly Hills 808303 moniker, the DJ better known as I-F creates music driven by the iconic acid sounds of the Roland TR-808 and TB-303. 2024 marks a special year for the producer from The Hague, as his first 808303 release came out exactly 20 years ago. Ever since, he’s been biting people’s eardrum with tremor-inducing shows and releases on imprints like Acid Planet, Drop Bass Network and his own Viewlexx.
